NLG Tether Tape™
Part of our Instant Tether System™, Tether Tape™ uses advanced self-fusing silicone technology to create a load-rated tether point on a tool in seconds. Due to its design, it doesn't use any adhesive so doesn't leave any residue behind when removing it from the tool.
Overview: It uses an advanced self-fusing silicone technology to quickly create a load-rated tether point on tools that do not have a built-in attachment point.
Maximum Load: The maximum load capacity is 5 KG / 11 LBS.
Key Features:
Self-Fusing: It is simply activated by stretching and fuses to itself without the need for adhesives, leaving no residue or permanent damage on the tool upon removal.
Durability: It is reinforced with fibreglass mesh for high strength, durability, and resistance to tears and punctures.
Safety Compliance: It is ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 compliant and third-party certified.
Non-Conductive: It is inherently flame retardant and forms a non-conductive ash when burned.
Ergonomics: It provides a comfortable, ergonomic grip on tool handles.
Technical Details:
It is load tested with a Dynamic (2:1 Safety Factor).
It can operate in an effective temperature range from –50°C to 250°C.
Usage: It is typically used in conjunction with NLG D Rings or Tether Chokes™ to create a secure tethering solution for hand tools and power tools.
